aweberlogoFor this week’s challenge, we have to put an opt-in form on our blog.  I’ll be using AWeber for my autoresponder.  Had to check out a video or two on Youtube and AWeber to remember how to get the opt-in form on my blog sidebar.  I’ve also been working on my other coaching program with Marc Milburn and we are working on squeeze pages too, so that has worked out really well.

Well if you are reading this right after I’ve posted this, you’ll see I have no opt-in form.  The reason I don’t have an opt-in form yet, or at least didn’t at the time of writing this post is because I’m waiting on my outsourcer to finish my “free gift”…what I’m giving away if people optin to my list.  My “free gift” is a little complicated to create and I asked the outsourcer to do my job quicker then the timeframe he gave so I’m waiting….and hoping…and praying he gets it to me today so I can make my challenge deadline.

If he doesn’t make it in time for the challenge deadline, at least I know within the next two days or so, I’ll not only have an opt-in on my blog, but I will also have a separate squeeze page and funnel that will also be done.  Super excited about that! 🙂

Keep your fingers crossed that I’ll have a “free gift” in my hands in the next couple of hours…

Sidenote:  The one item I am not doing very good at right now, is driving traffic to my blog.  I need to do more blog commenting and forum commenting.  Need to get more focused on traffic.

      Hi Leslie,

It;s good you’re taking up these weekly challenges as they teach you a great deal, don’t they?

I still don’t have the real official kind of opt-in on my blog too and that works well if you have something to offer I guess. No complaints about the traffic though – too much to handle at times. Yes, blog commenting is certainly the way to go. Wishing you the best 🙂

Thanks for sharing. Have a nice week ahead 🙂

Yes Harleena, these challenges have taught me a lot!

It’s good to have expectations set for you weekly so you feel the need to meet each weeks challenge. Goes back to the accountability to someone other then yourself.

Thanks for visiting my blog again!

I think I need to take up a weekly challenge as well.

Challenges can be very helpful Dan for whatever you are trying to accomplish.

If you’re looking at expanding your blog (cool picture on your blog), then follow the four week challenge I did.

Good luck to you and let me know if you pick up on a challenge.
