Are you considering how to make extra money from home? Well, there’s several different ways you can make extra money on the side like:
- selling things you don’t want anymore online possibly on the Facebook marketplace

I chose to start my own online business. And within that one topic are also many online business ideas for beginners. I discuss three options below that I personally have done to make extra money from home. These are three common options when building a business online: affiliate marketing, network marketing and investing. Now these are by no means all the ways to build an online business but they are the options I have done and am most familiar with.
How to start an online business from home, no matter what business it is, has some common factors.
- You must learn the business model and strategies
- You must have a strong mindset (belief) that you will succeed.
- You must enjoy the business and believe in it
You might be saying “But I only want to make extra money from home, not start a business online”
Well while you’re going down the path to make extra money from home you might as well take full advantage of tax benefits and other benefits from having an online business. You’d have to talk to an accountant to find out exactly what all those benefits are because I’m not an accountant nor do I play one on TV!
Now you might be saying “Well I don’t have time to run a business nor do I have a ton of money to invest in creating a business”.
Depending on how you make extra money from home will dictate how much money you’ll need and how much time you’ll need to invest.
The more time and money invested (if done smartly) will create more of an opportunity to create more extra money. It all depends on what you want to do and how it fits into your life.
I actually do affiliate marketing (selling others products for a commission), network marketing (similar to affiliate marketing but can grow an organization where additional commissions can be made) and investing.
Affiliate marketing and network marketing take more time and the investment may vary, starting from the lower end. Time and money involved in investing can vary depending on the model that you use. I use a model that requires less time for investing and learning the business.
This minimal time for investing works well for me with my other more time consuming businesses.
With any of these make extra money from home options, make sure you do your research, learn from a reputable leader and decide your goals upfront.
Because if you set up your online business correctly, you can make extra money from home for years to come.
