I’ve mentioned blog commenting before and how it is a great way to get traffic to your website. I thought today I’d give you a list of six of my favorite internet marketing bloggers so you can check them out.
I’ve learned a ton by reading these blogs and have had some great interactions as well. I not only learn from what they have written, but I learn from how they interact with their blog visitors, social media fans and those on their list.
Julie DeNeen from Fabulousblogging.com. As you can probably tell from the URL, Julie focuses in on blogging and can be hired out for several services also. She is definitely one of the bloggers on this list that is very active with Pinterest as well as other social media. I love her “Blogging and Social Media To Do Lists”.
Donna Merrill from Donnamerrilltribe.com. Donna provides great actionable posts that can be applied to your business and insights into what works for her including some goofs. Just like her recent post on “Sidebar Blindness”. Donna is also very active on social media and reciprocates any time I leave a comment on her blog.
Adrienne Smith from Adriennesmith.net. She has a very interactive blog with lots of comments on every post. She also is using social media extensively and reciprocates when I comment on her blog. I really enjoy her posts “Thankful Thursdays” where she blogs about whatever she is thankful for.
Derek Halpern from Socialtriggers.com. He focuses more on “what makes people tick” and the psychology behind marketing. Although, that is presented in a way that you can incorporate it into your business from his posts. Derek won me over with posts like “Why I Hate Split Testing”. He has a large Twitter following.
Ana Hoffman from Trafficgenerationcafe.com. Ana’s traffic ideas are amazing but she doesn’t just talk about ways to get traffic to your blog. She also explains what you can do on your blog to make it more attractive to traffic that sees your blog. “Weekly Marketing Skinny” is a great way to check out what’s going on in Marketing quickly.
Justin Brooke from Traffic Strategist. But this blogger is a bit different. He uses video as his delivery media. I’ve followed Justin for a few years now and he never fails to deliver great content. Successful marketers hire Justin like Russell Brunson and Rich Schefren to help with traffic. You can hire him too. I really enjoyed his series on solo ads since that’s what I’m currently working on.
Do you have a favorite blogger?

Thanks for the list of quality bloggers Leslie. I m sure will learn a lot from them. Will check them out 🙂
Thanks Sandy! You’ll definitely learn some good stuff from all 6 of these bloggers.

Sometimes I stop by Derek Halpern’s blog; especially when I’m having issues writing on more difficult topics. It may sound weird but it is true.
Another person I’m an avid fan of is Colin Theriot. Incredibly, he is in the process of developing a blog, so he is not your average blogger per se. He is a Facebook blogger (if that term even exists!). Although it is a private group, he allows just about everyone to join (currently, there are over 12,000 members). It is a very interactive page about writing copy. Cool thing is, you can be a novice like me and still feel comfortable commenting and asking questions. There are even famous copywriters that pop in and interact on occassion. Obviously, this is one group I recommend everyone check out.
Another blog I use is MOZ. There are some good ideas floating there, if you don’t mind having a read.
I am going to check out Justin Brooke today. I am more of a reader than a video person, but the solo ad mention, has me curious.
Thanks Dawn,
And thanks for the names of those additional bloggers. I’ll have to check them out.
I think you’ll really enjoy Justin. He’s kind of a nut too so he does some out takes at the end of some of his videos.
I hope you enjoy!

Pls I don’t have much money on me to setup blog mrs lesliez
Joshua,
I would suggest setting up your blog on blogger. It is a free platform to build your blog.
You are smart not to spend the money you need to live, pay bills etc. on trying to make money online. This business is not a get rich over nite. It takes hard work and time for you to develop your business. And yes some people hit it big quickly, but is not the norm as I’ve experienced it.
If you have a skill to offer, you may be able to make money online by either offer your skill on fiverr or freelance. Then you can get some money to build your online business.
Don’t give up on your dream, just figure out a way to support it.
Good Luck!

Hey Leslie,
Oh wow, thank you so much for mentioning me here and I’m so pleased to be listed among these other fabulous bloggers. What an honor and I always love hearing when someone enjoys and appreciates my blog.
I’m just happy I can help others with what I share and of course never fail to leave anyone behind who leaves me a comment.
Thank you again my dear and looks like I have a few people to go visit. Love checking out people I’ve yet to connect with so thank you for that.
You have a wonderful rest of your week.
~Adrienne
You being on this list is absolutely deserved Adrienne!
I really do enjoy your blog and your style of writing. I happy I’m able to introduce you to a couple of new bloggers. There are so many people online that it’s always great to expand your reach.
Thanks for stopping by!

This is a really useful guide, and has gone straight into my bookmarks. Thank you. I’d probably add Chris Lema to this list, because although he’s not an Internet marketer foremost, his style and approach is extremely professional and engaging.
Thanks Paul! Glad I made it into your bookmarks 🙂
And thanks for bringing up Chris. I’ll have to check him out.
Even when bloggers aren’t in IM, they can have great content and you can still learn from them.
I appreciate your comment.

Ok mrs lesliez,I really appreciate your words of encouragement

Hi Lesliez,
You are right at the beginning of your post about getting traffic on commenting and that is why I saw your post on buzzblogger and brought me here at your awesome blog.
Btw, on 6 bloggers you have mentions, I only know Derek, so Im gonna also check those 5. Thanks.
Hey Chris,
Happy to have you here! It’s great when you can show how a strategy works, ie. blog commenting 🙂
I think you are really going to enjoy yourself exploring those other 5 bloggers.
Stop by anytime.
LeslieZ
Sure Lesliez, thanks.
Hi LeslieZ,
I’d add Steve Scott to your list too. Although he’s mostly a Kindle author his posts are always worth reading – after what is a blog post but a very short book and sooner or later we’re going to want to write a book or two ourselves.
I’m also a fan of Adrienne and am a regular visitor to her pages. Think I’ll add yours to my list of blog haunts too.
Regards,
Steven Lucas
I’ll have to check him out Steven. Thanks for the addition.
I’ve been following Adrienne for awhile. She always has great insight on her blog. I know I’m in for a treat whenever I stop by.
You are so right. A blog post is a short book or story. We pour our experiences, frustrations, joys and emotions into a post. Those are all elements that make great books.
Glad to hear I’ve made your list of blogs. I appreciate you.

Hi Leslie,
Was I surprised when I came over to your blog and seen Me! Thank you so much, it is greatly appreciated being listed with so many wonderful bloggers.
I am familiar with most of them, and look forward to meeting the ones’ I don’t know.
I blog because I just love sharing knowledge. Plus the entire experience is a great way to meet wonderful friends. (Like YOU)
Thanks so much!
-Donna
Donna,
Your love of blogging shows all over your blog 🙂
Thanks for including me in your circle of friends. I am honored.
And you are quite welcome for letting people know about your excellent blog.
LeslieZ
Me, I’ve always wanted to meet Darren Rowse of ProBlogger.
Thanks David, another good one! I do love ProBlogger.
LeslieZ
Hi Leslie,
I believe this is my first visit to your blog. I came across your post by way of Donna Merrill and wanted to see what you had to say. I am very familiar with Donna and her blogging and Adrienne but I have to admit I haven’t heard of the others but I will be checking them out.
Thanks for the great information.
Glad to have you here Monna!
Donna and Adrienne are two great bloggers. They are probably two of the most interactive bloggers I’ve run across.
But these others are definitely worth a look. They have some really good content. Let me know what you think.
LeslieZ
Hi Lesliez,
I know and connect with three on the list – Adrienne, Donna and Ana. Thanks for the opportunity to meet and connect with the other 3. I’m checking their sites right away 😉
Hey Enstine,
You’ve definitely connected with 3 great ones off the list.
I’m happy I could connect you with the other three. I think you’ll enjoy their content also.
There are so many great bloggers out there. It seems like every week I find another great blog. I’ll keep looking and if you find any other great bloggers yourself, let me know.
Thanks,
LeslieZ
