Did you know that Facebook is putting some of the direct messages people are sending to you in an “other” folder? And if that’s not bad enough, there is also a second folder…. the “other other” folder that has missing messages in it as well.
Now to be fair to Facebook, they do this because they are trying to help you control spam. Unfortunately, even people that you want to talk to, get put in these obscure folders. Just today, I found someone in the “other other” folder that was looking for my husband. And I’ve heard of people who lost sales because they didn’t see people’s messages to them for months.
So, don’t be caught not responding to messages. People may think you don’t care or you’re ignoring them.
In the video below I show you how to find these “other” folders on your desktop. Currently there is no way to find these messages if you are using the Messenger App on your phone.
